Job Title: Workplace Experience Host

CBRE is seeking a highly skilled and organized Workplace Experience Host to join our team. As a key member of our Workplace Experience team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our employees and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for employees and guests, ensuring a positive first impression of the organization.
  • Manage all administrative and reception needs, including answering telephones, managing calls and calendar scheduling, and coordinating meetings and events.
  • Assist with scheduling and preparing meeting and conference rooms, arranging for equipment and supplies as needed.
  • Provide personal services to employees and guests, including arranging local transportation, office wayfinding, and visitor refreshments.
  • Coordinate catering for meetings and events, and maintain a neat and organized reception area and common spaces.
  • Assist the Workplace Experience Team and CBRE community with general administrative support, including mail services, event management, and desk booking.
  • Support the on-boarding process for new employees, including orientation, training, and equipment and software ordering.
  • Provide administrative support, including meeting coordination, office and workplace experience equipment care, and supply management.
  • Respond to community requests and complaints regarding Workplace Experience services, and ensure safety standards are met.
  • Manage facilities and office requests, follow up on all requests upon completion, and escalate recurring issues.
  • Manage reception stock and ensure system is in place to maintain optimum levels.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of related experience in a front desk, concierge, hospitality, room management, or customer service role.
  • Experience in facilities management and/or dealing with suppliers/contractors is beneficial.
Preferred Skills:
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, OneNote, and Outlook.
  • Comfortable with and embracing of new technologies and digital tools, including apps, databases, financial management, work order management, social networking, cloud technologies, handheld mobile technologies, and communications.
