Job Title: Senior Compensation Analyst

Job Summary:

The Senior Compensation Analyst will play a key role in designing, delivering, and evaluating compensation programs for NBCUniversal. This includes base pay, short and long-term incentives, sales compensation, employee recognition, and deferred compensation. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in compensation or a related analytical field and be comfortable working with large data sets. Strong problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the HR team to address compensation-related issues and develop data-driven solutions.
  2. Conduct market compensation surveys and analyze data to inform pay program assessments and competitive analyses.
  3. Assess current compensation levels and pay mix relative to the external market and internal peers.
  4. Develop compensation-related communication materials and provide explanations of compensation programs to employees and HR generalists.
  5. Evaluate market and economic trends to recommend adjustments to compensation programs.
  6. Design and maintain the job catalog to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  7. Provide analysis to assess the effectiveness and quality of compensation plans and programs.
  8. Research best practices internally and externally and apply key findings to achieve position objectives.
  9. Prepare reports summarizing compensation programs for employee meetings and executive-level compensation and benefit plans.
  10. Serve as a liaison for Compensation with other functional areas, including Benefits, HR Operations, and Finance.
Requirements:

  1. Prior experience in compensation or a related analytical field.
  2. Comfortable working with Excel and large data sets.
  3. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  4. Good communication skills to clearly share insights with different stakeholders.
  5. Proactive and comfortable managing own workload, whether working independently or as part of a team.
  6. Experience collaborating across functions and teams.
  7. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Human Resources, or a related field.
