Wastewater Treatment Operations Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Wastewater Treatment Operations Specialist to join our team at Randstad Delivery. The successful candidate will work closely with the ETP operations team, responsible for taking process samples and performing laboratory tests.
About the Role:
This is a contractual position initially for 6 months with possibilities of extension. The salary for this role is £13.50 per hour, with overtime paid at £20.25 per hour on weekdays and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect and prepare samples from the wastewater treatment plant, perform laboratory tests, and analyse results.
- Develop knowledge to support plant operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Support optimal water and waste processes, contribute improvement ideas, and ensure adherence to environmental management systems.
Requirements:
- Laboratory/analytical experience is essential, preferably in a laboratory environment and industrial water/effluent treatment.
- A full driver's license is required.
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment process layout and sample point locations is essential.
Earning Potential: Based on 40 hours a week, the estimated annual salary for this role would be £28,704 (£13.50 x 40 x 52). However, this may vary based on individual circumstances.
