We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team at ParkerSteel Ltd. Based in Canterbury, this full-time role offers a competitive salary of up to £35,000, depending on skills and experience.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a pattern of 4 days on/4 days off/4 nights on/4 nights off 12-hour shifts. As a Maintenance Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative and emergency breakdown maintenance on a wide range of machinery, including overhead cranes, shot blast and paint line, CNC controlled saws, drills, lasers, and water jet machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertaking planned preventative maintenance activities, recording and documenting findings and instigating repairs as required.
  • Carrying out breakdown and remedial repairs on processing machinery and plant.
  • Maintaining accurate records associated with planned preventative maintenance.
  • Utilizing electrical and mechanical skills, including fault finding, to identify and resolve issues.
Requirements
  • Experience of completing planned maintenance activities.
  • Turning, milling, and light fabrication skills, including basic welding.
  • Proficiency in the use and repair of Fork trucks, Cranes, and MEWP's.
  • Demonstrated driving license.
