The Circle Health Group Limited is a leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics.

This role involves working as an Industrial Maintenance Specialist in the Engineering department at one of our hospital sites. You will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern and work closely with the team to ensure the prompt completion of all work orders for Planned maintenance, Reactive response, Specialist sub-contract work orders and remedial work orders.

We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices, including health, safety and environmental procedures. The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds Part 3, ONC or NVQ Level 3 in plumbing and heating certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide Routine and Specialised Engineering Maintenance and breakdown support to a specific hospital site.
  • To ensure the prompt completion of all work orders for Planned maintenance, Reactive response, Specialist sub-contract work orders and remedial work orders.
  • To provide Technical, Health, Safety and Environmental support & assistance as required.
  • To provide training, mentoring and hands-on assistance to any additional Site based Technicians or Engineering Assistants.
  • To provide Engineering support and advice to the Local Hospital managers as required.

Requirements:

  • A Current Construction Safety Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card at appropriate level of qualification.
  • A strong understanding of L8 Legionella ACOP within Hospital buildings.
  • Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
