Electrical Maintenance Specialist

As an Electrical Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for:
- The maintenance of electrical equipment and troubleshooting circuit problems including the installation, rebuilding, commissioning, or repairing of electrical equipment as needed. You will also be required to assist with all service calls.
- Productivity and Reliability: you will need to safely troubleshoot issues by reading logic in PLCs and other control equipment, use diagnostic equipment, and troubleshoot issues related to production machine coordinated drives. You will also need to maintain the SAP Plan Maintenance System, including following all computer-based and paper processes for work-order completion and documentation.
This role is shift-based, meaning you will be required to work a 12-hour shift pattern with a mixture of both days and nights.
What We Offer You:- Competitive Salary: The starting salary for this role is £46,260 per annum, with an additional shift premium of £164. Every P&G employee's salary is reviewed annually, and therefore, there is ample opportunity for future salary increases.
- Generous Pension: The Company will contribute double the amount you contribute towards your pension savings, up to a maximum company contribution of 14% of your pensionable pay.
- Annual Leave: You will start with 25 days' annual leave entitlement (plus bank holidays), increasing with length of service up to 30 days.
- Private Medical Insurance: Our Private Medical Insurance Plan, currently delivered by AXA Health, provides eligible employees with access to private medical treatment, if they wish. Eligible employees can request that their partner and/or eligible dependent children be included on their cover.
Job Qualifications
We are looking for individuals who:
- Are qualified to a minimum of ONC/C&G Part III or HNC/NVQ Level 3 in an Electrical Engineering time-served apprenticeship.
- Have proven electrical experience in either process or production environment in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods or similar industry.
- Have electrical experience in the following manufacturing processes, including but not limited to PLC (Allen Bradley preferably) control systems, SCADA systems, instrumentation, and 415v motor control circuits.
- Have a fluent ability to communicate in English.
