About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Mechanical & Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service in all areas of mechanical and electrical maintenance, compliance, and reactive works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of systems, including boilers, low-voltage electrical systems, fire alarms, HVAC, medical gas systems, and more
  • Independently analyse problems and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal system performance
  • Actively use the Technical Solutions CAFM system for job management and progress tracking
  • Ensure adherence to company safety standards and procedures, promoting a culture of safety across all operations
  • Keep detailed records of all tasks undertaken for compliance and further education
  • Respond swiftly to emergencies, prioritising patient needs at all times

Requirements

  • A qualified Mechanical or Electrical Technician with a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems
  • Previous experience in an acute hospital environment is essential
  • Good communication and written skills, with a proactive and adaptable attitude
  • A full valid driving licence is required for travel between sites

Essential Qualifications:

  • Qualification in either mechanical or electrical discipline
  • Relevant City & Guilds or BTEC qualifications
