We are currently seeking a Recovery Support Worker for our client in Shrewsbury on a 3-month contract to start ASAP. This role involves supporting individuals struggling with substance misuse by providing screening, assessment, and recovery planning. The successful candidate will also promote carer, service user, and community involvement.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team to support individuals affected by substance misuse. As a Recovery Support Worker, you will be required to:
- Support service users through their treatment and recovery journey;
- Provide screening, assessment, and recovery planning;
- Promote social integration and enable individuals to lead meaningful lives;
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with diverse groups. An Enhanced Adults and Children's DBS is required for this position.
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum
