Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Mental Health Practitioner to work with young people in our service. This is a training role within the Children and Young People's Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Programme (CYP-IAPT). The post-holder will work within the BeeU (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service) providing interventions under supervision whilst undertaking a programme of training for this role.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience of working with children, young people and families with a range of emotional/mental health, behavioural and specific needs. They will also be committed to equity, diversity and inclusion, and able to balance a very busy work and study schedule. As this is a Postgraduate level training, applicants must be prepared to work towards their studies outside of protected study time.

This is a fixed term 12 month post based in either Telford or Shrewsbury. The salary for this position is £30,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include excellent NHS Pension scheme, generous maternity, paternity, adoption leave, options for flexible working, up to 27 days annual leave, and extensive Health and Wellbeing support and resources.
