Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our medical education and undergraduate services. As a Director of Medical Education and Undergraduate Services, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and delivering high-quality educational services that meet the needs of junior doctors and students.

You will work closely with our Director of Medical Education, Deputy Directors, and other stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of our educational contract with NHS England and Medical Schools. This includes maintaining student records, ensuring systems and processes are effective, accurate, and auditable, and promoting the resources of our Undergraduate Medical Education Department.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to build relationships and support others. They will also have experience in taking complex, sensitive, and confidential information, and working in a client-facing role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and deliver high-quality educational services that meet the needs of junior doctors and students.
  • Maintain student records and ensure systems and processes are effective, accurate, and auditable.
  • Promote the resources of our Undergraduate Medical Education Department.
  • Liaise and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with:

  • Experience in education or a related field, ideally with a postgraduate qualification.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to build relationships and support others.
  • Experience in taking complex, sensitive, and confidential information.
  • Working in a client-facing role.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a range of benefits, including:
