Event Coordinator for Higher Education

About the Role:
The University of Kent's Medical School is seeking an accomplished professional to spearhead student recruitment and engagement initiatives. As a strategic partner, you will collaborate with the Marketing and Outreach team to develop and execute comprehensive recruitment plans, targeting diverse student populations across the UK and internationally.
This dynamic position requires exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills. You will oversee event planning, content creation, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring seamless execution and maximizing impact.
Main Accountabilities:
- Design and implement a robust recruitment strategy, incorporating market research and analysis.
- Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate events, workshops, and online activities, promoting the University of Kent's Medical School.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure efficient and effective event delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with educational institutions, community organizations, and other key stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate event outcomes, providing actionable insights to inform future recruitment efforts.
Requirements:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as Business, Marketing, or Education.
- At least 3 years of experience in event management, recruitment, or a related field.
- Exceptional leadership, project management, and communication skills.
