Job Overview

The University of Kent seeks a highly motivated and organized Event Recruitment Specialist to join its team. This role will support the Marketing, Outreach, and Engagement Manager in delivering a wide range of internal and external events to recruit students from across the UK and internationally.

The successful candidate will develop, coordinate, and evaluate targeted recruitment activities to deliver on the school's marketing and recruitment strategy. The post holder will attend and deliver various recruitment activities in the UK, mainly in the South East.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with teachers in schools and colleges to organize virtual or in-person school visits and promote medicine as a career option.
  • Create engaging content, presentations, videos, and webinars for prospective students and influencers aligned with the Kent and Medway Medical School recruitment strategy.
  • Organize and deliver Kent and Medway Medical School-specific events such as regular Open Days.
Requirements
  • A degree in a relevant subject and/or significant experience in a related field.
  • An understanding of Higher Education recruitment, including medical school recruitment.
  • A track record of delivering effective presentations and HE Fair activities.
