Logistics Coordinator

At Element Solutions Inc, we're pushing the boundaries of the electronics industry with our innovative solutions and commitment to excellence. Our logistics team is at the forefront of this revolution, ensuring the seamless movement of goods across the globe. As a Logistics Coordinator, you'll play a crucial role in this process, working closely with our Logistics Manager to coordinate the efficient movement of goods to and from our site. With a focus on legal compliance and administrative control, you'll be responsible for arranging and monitoring inbound and outbound freight, both domestically and internationally.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Logistics Coordinator, your duties will include:
- Coordinating, monitoring, and administering inbound and outbound freight, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation
- Arranging and monitoring dedicated/specialized transport, including air freight, for time-critical movements
- Coordinating and arranging all samples orders from request to delivery, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Maintaining the highest standards of archiving and data accuracy for site logistics
- Completing export/import customs entries with 100% accuracy, ensuring regulatory compliance
- Collating daily reports on all inbound/outbound movements for business-wide visibility
- Maintaining and updating goods in and customer collections shipping calendars, working closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure seamless movements
- Assisting the Warehouse team with the preparation of shipping paperwork for hazardous goods
- Collaborating with the Customer Service team to prepare and control official paperwork, including EUR-1 forms and Certificates of Origins
- Coordinating movements to and from 3PL warehousing sites, ensuring efficient logistics processes
- Performing regular checks on shipping paperwork to ensure regulatory compliance
- Leading daily inbound/outbound meetings with Warehouse Supervisors to update on traffic
- Identifying improvement opportunities and proactively working with the Logistics Manager to implement changes
- Supporting administrative duties related to the annual stock take
We're looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual with:
- GCSE grade 4 in Maths and English, or equivalent, or through proven experience
- Proven skills in Microsoft packages, including Word and Excel
- Knowledge of transport regulations, including ADR and hazardous goods handling and documentation
