We are seeking an exceptional Emergency Department Coordinator to join our team at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, ensuring the smooth flow of patients through our Emergency Department.

About the Role:

  • Work collaboratively with our Medical, Nursing, and Site Management teams to coordinate activity within the Emergency Department.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and patient care.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a pleasant telephone manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate the movement of patients through the Emergency Department, ensuring timely and efficient care.
  2. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve queries and concerns, maintaining high standards of patient care.
  3. Provide administrative support, including data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
