Job Description

As an Emergency Medicine Specialist, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with Consultant Emergency Physicians to provide high-quality care to patients. Your responsibilities will include assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.

You will have the opportunity to work in a modern, progressive department with a strong focus on education and professional development. Our team is committed to delivering excellent patient care, and we encourage Quality Improvement activities to drive continuous improvement.

We are currently rebuilding our department, which has provided a new Resuscitation Area, upgraded Majors and Minors space, and a separate area for Children. This investment aims to provide a productive and rewarding environment in which to work.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a strong clinical knowledge base, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and contribute to a positive team culture.

A degree in medicine or a related field is required, and you must be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC). We also welcome applications from International Medical Graduates who meet the necessary criteria.
