About the Role

NHS Devon is seeking an experienced Emergency Planning Specialist to join our team in Devon.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with all acute, ambulance, community, mental health, primary care providers, and social care services to ensure effective patient flow and safety. The successful candidate will lead on agreed areas of Emergency Preparedness, Response and Recovery (EPRR) planning and process development, enabling NHS Devon to provide an effective response in the event of an emergency or disruptive event.

The Emergency Planning Specialist will be responsible for leading initial debriefings, ensuring lessons identified are recorded and tracked following emergency incidents, training, or exercises. They will also support the delivery of EPRR policy across the Devon system, working closely with NHS and multi-agency partners.

As part of the Devon Integrated Care System, we recognize that effective collaboration is essential in providing quality healthcare. The ideal candidate will have a passion for making a real difference to healthcare in Devon and will contribute to LHRP and Local Resilience Forum (LRF) working groups to ensure NHS Devon's perspectives are represented.

Estimated salary: £46,489 - £58,555 per annum.
