Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accident and Emergency Consultant to join our Dermatology team in Royal Devon University Hospital. The successful candidate will be based at Heavitree Hospital but will have sessional commitments at North Devon.

Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality patient care, managing emergencies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. You will also contribute to the development of our emergency services, ensuring excellence in patient outcomes and experience.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Candidate must have completed specialist training prior to taking up the appointment and provide evidence of this with their application.
  • Three referees covering the last three years of employment should be included with the application.
  • If the applicant is a consultant, one referee should be the current or most recent Medical Director. If the applicant is a Locum Consultant, one referee should be the Clinical Director.
