We are seeking an accomplished Team Manager to lead our Whitehaven Safe Haven/Crisis Support Team in delivering exceptional mental health care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of up to 9 staff members, ensuring effective day-to-day operations, resource allocation, and public relations.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing teams, associated HR processes, and working within health or social care settings. Strong relationships with local stakeholders and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality mental health services aligned with commissioned contracts and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement effective nonclinical supervision systems.
  • Provide regular reports to commissioners on service performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager to ensure robust risk management processes are in place.
About You
  • Significant experience in managing teams, including HR responsibilities.
  • Proven track record in health or social care settings.
  • Strong expertise in working with individuals with severe mental illness or complex health conditions.
  • Effective data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Ability to improve services to meet client needs.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and risk management in crisis services.
