Job Title: General Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced General Manager to lead our manufacturing business in Derbyshire. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for driving business growth, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring the continued success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and improve profitability
  • Lead and manage a team of direct reports, including Operations, Logistics, Sales, Engineering, HSE, and Finance
  • Ensure the continued improvement of the business, including cost control, quality assurance, and health and safety
  • Forge strong relationships with internal stakeholders, the workforce, and external partners
  • Drive cultural change and improve engagement across the organization
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of success in a senior management role in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience of developing and leading multiple teams, including Engineering, HSE, and Sales
  • Qualification in Engineering (Degree, HNC, HND) or equivalent
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and develop the senior team
