About the Role:

The Cloud Infrastructure Project Specialist will be responsible for delivering dynamic and reactive single-day projects, including configuring and installing network hardware, setting up new users, delivering MS365 solutions, and overseeing data migrations.

The ideal candidate will have experience across a broad range of technologies, both in the cloud and on-premise, including core services like cabling, networking (VLANs), and ERP solutions.

The role includes ongoing maintenance of Microsoft Server Architecture and management of cloud and on-premise core services and infrastructure, including Microsoft M365, computers (both cloud and laptops/desktops), storage, and networking.

The candidate should have worked in a technical project role for over three years in a project-driven environment and seek a pivotal and challenging role in a cloud-first business.

  1. Delivering single-day projects and providing support on escalated tickets from the support desk.
  2. Managing daily schedules to meet project deadlines while assisting with service requests and acting as a point of escalation for the support desk.
  3. Overseeing the life cycle of a project to ensure an excellent customer experience.
  4. Attending sites to resolve reported issues, install hardware, and set up appropriate cabling.
  5. Providing advanced support in networking, infrastructure, and Wi-Fi.
  6. Updating support case information promptly and maintaining all support, project, and customer documentation as needed.
  7. Influential abilities to set expectations and coordinate projects.
  8. A solid understanding of network technologies and networking fundamentals.
  9. Technical expertise in Microsoft's full technology stack (Windows 10, Intune MDM, Active Directory, Azure, Security, MS365, etc.).
  10. Experience in both high-level and low-level solution design and implementation.
  11. Experience with UniFi (or similar) wireless access points and network switches.
  12. In-depth understanding of network protocols, routing, subnets, and VLANs.
  13. Professional qualifications (CISCO, Microsoft, etc.).
  14. Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra.
  15. Office 365 migration experience.
Salary and Benefits:

Salary: £36k-£40k per year (Depending on Experience).

Core Hours: Monday to Thursday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
