Monitoring and Compliance Specialist

Merje, a leading financial planning and wealth management firm, is seeking a qualified Monitoring and Compliance Specialist to join their team on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking the risk-based second-line monitoring function, ensuring that our financial services are delivered in accordance with regulatory requirements.
About the Role:- Undertake second-line of defence compliance monitoring for review of the effectiveness of the control environment.
- Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies to senior management.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
We offer a competitive salary range of £48,000 - £62,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits and career development opportunities.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, law, or business.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Estimated salary: £55,000.
