About the Role

The Infrastructure Associate will be a key member of the investment team at BCI, supporting the analysis and due diligence of potential infrastructure and renewable resources investment opportunities. This role will involve conducting financial modeling, valuation, and scenario analysis, as well as providing support to legal and tax workstreams for prospective investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing and conducting due diligence for direct and fund investment opportunities
  • Provide support to legal and tax workstreams for prospective investments
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of investment committee materials
  • Assist in the monitoring of existing investments and analysis
  • Travel, when required, for due diligence or oversight of investments

Requirements

  • Undergraduate university degree in a relevant program such as finance, accounting, business/commerce, or economics
  • Strong understanding of private markets/infrastructure investing and a sound understanding of corporate finance principles
  • Minimum 2-5 years' experience within a leading private equity/asset management firm, investment bank, advisory/consultancy firm, corporate development team, or direct exposure to private market investments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of an MBA or relevant professional designation (e.g., CFA, CBV, LLB, or recognized accounting designation)
  • Previous infrastructure investment experience, with an emphasis on direct, private market investments
