GIC Private Limited is a leading global long-term investor, and we are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Associate to join our team. As an Infrastructure Associate, you will be responsible for evaluating and executing new infrastructure investments, compiling and presenting financial and qualitative analysis of companies and sectors, and establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with counterparties and potential investee companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating and executing new infrastructure investments
  • Compiling and presenting financial and qualitative analysis of companies and sectors
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with counterparties and potential investee companies
  • Additional responsibilities such as management of the existing infrastructure portfolio
  • Monitor assigned investments, for example, supporting GIC as representative at investor and board meetings, interacting with management and other investors on a regular basis and working on various strategic initiatives with investee companies
  • Be part of special projects as assigned from time to time (for example, market mapping of industries)

Requirements:

  • 2 years' experience gained either in an Investment Bank, Infrastructure Private Equity, Management Consulting, or Accounting Firm
  • Excellent academic background from reputable institutions
  • Outstanding working knowledge and experience of financial modelling (DCF, or Project Financing) and comparative analysis
  • Transactional due diligence experience and strong report writing skills
  • Strong project management and co-ordination experience
  • European languages are advantageous
