About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Business Development Specialist to join our team at Howden Group Holdings. As a key member of our Motor Trade Insurance team, you will be responsible for developing and executing business growth strategies to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and generate new business leads through effective sales and marketing efforts
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to drive business growth and retention
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform business growth strategies
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in insurance sales and business development
  • Strong understanding of motor trade insurance and commercial insurance products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
