PhD Researcher in Second Language Learning

University of Cambridge is seeking a talented PhD Researcher to contribute to an interdisciplinary project focused on developing individualized approaches to second language learning using digital technology.
The successful candidate will be part of a research team that aims to improve language outcomes by tailoring instruction to students' abilities. The project will integrate cognitive research with digital tools to create a unique set of skills for high-profile careers in academia, government, and industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement experiments to identify key predictors of second language learning
- Collaborate with Cambridge University Press and Assessment to develop a digitally based method of individualized instruction
- Conduct research and analysis to inform the development of language learning tools
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Language Sciences, Psychology, or related field
- Theoretical knowledge of language processing and experimental design experience
- Strong technical and programming skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
