Cognitive Research Scientist

The University of Cambridge is seeking a Cognitive Research Scientist to contribute to an interdisciplinary project focused on second language learning. As a member of our research group, you will investigate the cognitive mechanisms underlying language acquisition and develop innovative solutions for language learning.
The successful candidate will work closely with our team to design and conduct experiments to identify key predictors of second language learning. You will also collaborate with researchers from Cambridge University Press and Assessment to develop a digitally based method of individualized instruction.
Responsibilities:
- Design and conduct experiments to investigate cognitive mechanisms of language acquisition
- Collaborate with research team to develop and refine instructional methods
- Conduct data analysis and interpretation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or related field
- Theoretical knowledge of language processing and cognitive neuroscience
- Experience with experimental design and statistical analysis
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
