The ideal candidate should have a PhD in materials science or a closely related subject with experience in these methods. Additionally, experience in 2D materials such as graphene, hexagonal boron nitride, and transition metal dichalcogenides would be advantageous.

The salary for this position is approximately £40,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
