Job Title: Senior Neurolinguistics Researcher

Company Overview: The University of Cambridge is a world-renowned institution seeking to appoint a full-time University Assistant Professor in Neurolinguistics.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description:

The Role

We invite applications from candidates who have a formal linguistics background and who have outstanding research using electroencephalography (EEG) to investigate issues such as bilingualism/multilingualism, neurodiversity, first and second language acquisition, and any area of core linguistics.

The appointee will take an essentially cross-disciplinary approach, consistent with the ethos of TAL and its central role within the broader Language Sciences network within Cambridge.

  • Contribute to the delivery of a distinctive intellectual programme in Linguistics and the Language Sciences at the Master's and PhD levels in their field of expertise
  • Contribute to undergraduate teaching and small group supervision

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Relevant teaching experience
  • PhD in a relevant field by the start date for the post
  • Demonstrable active, collegial engagement in research, teaching and outreach in Neurolinguistics
