We are seeking a highly skilled Neurolinguistics Expert to join our esteemed faculty at the University of Cambridge. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and accomplished individual to contribute to our research and teaching endeavors.

About the Role

The appointed expert will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and research in neurolinguistics, with a focus on issues such as bilingualism/multilingualism, neurodiversity, first and second language acquisition, and core linguistics. The successful candidate will also contribute to the administration of the activities of the Theoretical and Applied Linguistics Section (TAL) and the Faculty of Modern and Medieval Languages and Linguistics (MMLL).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research and publish papers in reputable journals and books
  • Taught undergraduate and graduate courses in neurolinguistics
  • Supervise students' research projects and theses
  • Participate in departmental meetings and committees
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a PhD in a relevant field, a strong track record of research and teaching experience, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A fluent command of English is essential.

What We Offer

As a member of our faculty, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous holiday allowance.
