Job Summary:

We are seeking a Strategic Vendor Management Specialist to lead the development and implementation of strategies for managing our professional services suppliers. This role will involve driving the strategy of the category, collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive innovation, efficiencies, business development opportunities, and developing and maintaining plans to prioritise and implement continuous improvement in terms of service, cost, risk, and flexibility.

About the Job:

  • Driving the strategy of the category, collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive innovation, efficiencies, business development opportunities.
  • Developing and maintaining plans to prioritise and implement continuous improvement in terms of service, cost, risk, and flexibility.
  • Instigating and developing action plans to remedy poor supplier performance and managing these plans through to successful conclusion.
  • Providing regular Management Information reports and updates to business stakeholders at all levels.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in contract supplier management, ideally across Professional Services.
  • Experience in managing supplier against the requirements set out in the FCA and PRA handbook.
  • Knowledge of working with and managing outsourced Service Providers.
  • A good knowledge of supply chain processes and the tools and techniques that can be used to improve them.
  • Good understanding of risk management frameworks and compliance activities.
  • Knowledge and experience of contract terms and conditions with an emphasis on drafting schedules.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics in efficient and effective manner.
  • Experience of building and maintaining effective relationships at all levels.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Estimated salary: £58,000 - £63,500 per annum.

  • 25 days holiday, increasing through length of service, with option to buy or sell.
