About the Role

The Adult Outreach Worker will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver effective outreach services, prioritizing the needs of individuals experiencing homelessness within the Roma community. This involves conducting thorough assessments, referring clients to suitable support services, and securing stable accommodation pathways.

Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver high-quality outreach services, adhering to organizational policies and procedures.
  2. Provide personalized support and engagement with clients, promoting long-term sustainability.
  3. Participate in regular outreach shifts to identify and engage with rough sleepers, gathering vital information to facilitate their transition to stable living arrangements.
  4. Evaluate and adapt assessments and support services to ensure cultural sensitivity and relevance to the Roma community.
  5. Develop and maintain strong partnerships with external agencies and teams, advocating for Roma individuals' welfare rights and other support needs.
  6. Work closely with allocated clients to address their needs, refer them to suitable services, and secure suitable accommodation.
  7. Offer assistance with financial matters, including benefit claims and debt issues, liaising with relevant agencies.
  8. Provide expert advice, support, crisis intervention, and future planning tailored to the specific needs of service users.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum based on location and experience.
