Job Title: Health and Social Care Professional - Community Outreach

We are seeking a dedicated Health and Social Care Professional to join our team at the Margaret Clitherow Trust, working with individuals and families who have complex health and social care needs.

About the Role

As a Health and Social Care Professional, you will work closely with our clients, advocating for them, and empowering them to navigate healthcare and social care systems. Your goal will be to tackle health inequalities and ensure that vulnerable individuals receive the support they need.

You will develop strong relationships with health and social care providers to achieve better outcomes for our communities and clients. We believe that this role requires someone with experience of successful work with vulnerable people and an understanding of health and social care systems.

About Us

The Margaret Clitherow Trust is a charity that aims to tackle health inequalities in Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller communities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to healthcare and social care services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advocacy and Support:
    • Work with individuals and families who have complex health and social care needs.
    • Advocate for their rights and interests.
    • Empower them to navigate healthcare and social care systems.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Develop strong relationships with health and social care providers.
    • Tackle health inequalities and achieve better outcomes for our communities and clients.
  • Requirements:
    • Experience of successful work with vulnerable people.
    • Understanding of health and social care systems.
Benefits

This part-time (0.4fte) role offers a competitive salary of £26,500 per annum, plus benefits including a pension scheme, personal training budget, and generous paid holiday equivalent to 7 weeks plus bank holidays.
