Senior Fundraising Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Fundraising Specialist to join our team at Margaret Clitherow Trust Careers. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for shaping and propelling us forward in the next stage of our journey.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a small, highly committed team, making a unique impact in a highly interesting but challenging area. Our vision and mission focus on creating a world where everyone is included and afforded respect, dignity, and justice.
We believe that this full inclusion is possible for Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller communities, and we look forward to being part of a society where this is realized. Our work is structured around several missions, including advancing child welfare, healthcare access, education, women's safety, and chaplaincy in the communities we serve.
Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller communities have some of the poorest health outcomes in the UK, including high rates of child mortality, suicide rates, life expectancy, educational outcomes, and discrimination (House of Commons, 2019). We aim to address these disparities through our fundraising efforts.
The successful candidate will work closely with other leaders to set a new fundraising strategy, identifying opportunities and developing relationships with donors and partners. A strong understanding of philanthropy and partnerships is essential, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum. This role offers a competitive salary, benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
