Financial Reporting Manager

Project People is seeking a highly skilled Unilateral Financial Reporting and Audit Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Finance Department, you will be responsible for managing the Shareholder's Unilateral Project financial reporting and associated audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce and distribute monthly reports consolidating information from multiple 3rd party outsourced providers.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy, and reconcile back to the General Ledger.
- Facilitate Shareholder's unilateral audits, including early engagement and planning, internal and external communication, and coordination of information requests.
- Review and update financial risks and controls register and policies and procedures, and carry out internal compliance testing.
- Interact with other Finance teams to support explanation of finance results and convey complex data transactions to various areas of the business.
- Review and prioritize audit requests, obtain and provide required information in a timely manner, and assess the quality of information provided.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure audit progress.
- Create and update Unilateral Accounting Policies and ensure they are up to date.
- Newly or recently qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2 years Industry/Commercial experience.
- Professional Qualification - ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Recent audit experience with the ability to request audit samples.
- Process Management - ability to spot opportunities to continuously improve and streamline processes.
- Good understanding of financial policies, procedures, and risks and controls.
- Exposure to handling Budgets, Forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Strong understanding of auditing principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in working with multiple ERP systems and ability to work on Excel.
- Strong Stakeholder Engagement and Business Partnership experience.
- Experience of working with IFS 16 (ERP) system.
- Financial Accounting experience or management of large CAPEX/OPEX budgets is ideal but not required.
