Financial Reporting Manager

Project People is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our team. As a Financial Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Shareholder's Unilateral Project financial reporting and associated audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Produce and distribute monthly reports consolidating information from multiple 3rd party outsourced providers, ensuring completeness and accuracy while reconciling back to the General Ledger.
- Facilitate Shareholder's unilateral audits, including early engagement and planning, internal and external communication, coordination of information requests, and providing explanations to ensure satisfactory completion.
- Review MBNL's financial risks and controls register, policies, and procedures, and carry out internal compliance testing.
- Update/create necessary financial policies and procedures as required.
- Interact with other Finance teams to support explanations of finance results, conveying complex data transactions to various areas of the business with varying levels of seniority for analysis related to any Ad Hoc Unilateral Request.
- Review and prioritize audit requests, obtaining/providing the required information in a timely manner.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure the audit progresses smoothly.
- Create/update and review existing Unilateral Accounting Policies to ensure they are current.
- Provide ad hoc support to the financial accounting and reporting team as needed.
- Newly or recently qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2 years Industry/Commercial experience.
- Professional Qualification - ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Recent audit experience with the ability to request audit samples.
- Good understanding of financial policies, procedures, and risks and controls.
- Exposure to handling Budgets, Forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Strong understanding of auditing principles and practices.
- Experience working with multiple ERP systems and proficiency in Excel.
- Experience working with IFS 16 (ERP) system.
- Financial Accounting experience or management of large CAPEX/OPEX budgets is ideal but not required.
