Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our team at Project People. As a key member of our Financial Accounting team, you will be responsible for leading IFRS 16 reporting, collaborating with suppliers for accuracy, and reviewing, challenging, and reconciling monthly reports to ensure consistency with the General Ledger.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Centralized View of IFRS 16 Results: Provide a centralized view of IFRS 16 results, pre-IFRS 16 results, and impact assessment to support Finance Business Partners in interpreting outputs and providing accurate information.
  • Reconciliation and Reporting: Reconcile the General Ledger to outputs, taking ownership of monthly IFRS 16 reporting, and provide required information to the Financial Reporting team for various reports.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with suppliers, FP&A, and Finance Business Partners to coordinate forecasting, budgeting, and complete CAS (Group Reporting) forms for quarterly submission to Group via the Financial Reporting team.
  • Audit and Compliance: Manage audit deliverables, requests, and queries related to IFRS 16, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified ACA, 3+ years PQE, preferably with an audit background.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of IFRS 16, strong technical accounting skills, and intermediate Excel skills.
  • Experience: Experience managing external and internal stakeholders, exposure to external auditors, and analytical with attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Customer-driven, collaborative, agile, and comfortable presenting to senior management.
