Financial Reporting Manager

MBNL is seeking a highly skilled Financial Reporting Manager to join our Finance Department. As a key member of the Financial Accounting and Reporting Team, you will be responsible for managing the Shareholder's Unilateral Project financial reporting and associated audit requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Shareholder's unilateral audits, including early engagement and planning, internal and external communication, coordination of information requests, and obtaining explanations to ensure satisfactory completion.
- Review MBNL's financial risks and controls register and policies and procedures, and carry out internal compliance testing.
- Review and update financial policies and procedures as necessary.
- Interact with other Finance teams to support explanation of finance results and convey complex data transactions to various areas of the business.
- Review and prioritize audit requests and obtain/provide required information in a timely manner.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure audit progress.
- Create/update and review existing Unilateral Accounting Policies.
- Provide ad hoc support to the financial accounting and reporting team as needed.
Requirements:
- Newly or recently qualified Accountant with a minimum of 2 years industry/commercial experience.
- Professional Qualification - ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Recent audit experience with the ability to request audit samples.
- Good understanding of financial policies, procedures, and risks and controls.
- Exposure to handling budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Strong understanding of auditing principles and practices.
- Experience in working with multiple ERP systems and ability to work on Excel.
Nice to Have:
- Experience of working with IFS 16 (ERP) system.
- Financial Accounting experience or management of large CAPEX/OPEX budgets is ideal but not required.
