Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join our team at Project People. As a key member of our Financial Accounting team, you will be responsible for leading IFRS 16 reporting, collaborating with suppliers for accuracy, and reviewing, challenging, and reconciling monthly reports to ensure consistency with the General Ledger.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Centralized View of IFRS 16 Results: Provide a centralized view of IFRS 16 results, pre-IFRS 16 results, and impact assessment.
  • Support Finance Business Partners: Support Finance Business Partners in interpreting outputs and providing accurate information.
  • Reconcile General Ledger: Reconcile General Ledger to outputs, taking ownership of monthly IFRS 16 reporting.
  • Provide Required Information: Provide required information to Financial Reporting team for various reports.
  • Coordinate Forecasting and Budgeting: Coordinate forecasting, budgeting with supplier, FP&A, and FBPs.
  • Complete CAS Forms: Complete CAS (Group Reporting) forms, quarterly submission to Group via Financial Reporting team.
  • Manage Audit Deliverables: Manage audit deliverables, requests, and queries related to IFRS 16.

Requirements:

  • Qualified ACA: Qualified ACA, 3+ years PQE, preferably audit background.
  • Working Knowledge of IFRS 16: Working knowledge of IFRS 16, strong technical accounting skills.
  • Experience Managing External and Internal Stakeholders: Experience managing external and internal stakeholders.
  • Intermediate Excel Skills: Intermediate Excel skills, month-end reconciliation experience.
  • Exposure to External Auditors: Exposure to external auditors, analytical with attention to detail.
  • Customer-Driven and Collaborative: Customer-driven, collaborative, agile, comfortable presenting to senior management.
