Job Description

Buckden Partners is seeking an experienced FP&A / Financial Reporting Manager to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support business decision-making.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Design and deliver high-quality financial reports and analysis to stakeholders, including the executive team and shareholders.
  • Business Partnership: Collaborate with business partners to understand their financial needs and develop solutions to support their goals.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.
  • Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decision-making.
  • Cost Optimisation: Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve profitability.
  • Management Accounting: Develop and maintain management accounting packs to support business decision-making.
  • Financial Data Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Finance Professional: Recognised accountancy qualifications and post-qualification experience in a relevant role.
  • Leadership and Storytelling: Strong leadership and storytelling skills, with a deep understanding of financial concepts.
  • Communication and Influencing: Excellent communication and influencing skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Financial Modelling and Analysis: Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and financial software.
  • Commercial Awareness: Excellent commercial awareness and presentation skills.
  • Experience: Significant experience in managing ambiguity in a financial environment, with a strong ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent technical financial and accounting knowledge, with the ability to apply that knowledge in a complex and commercial environment.
