About the Role

The Reporting Accountant will play a crucial role in the financial reporting for multiple entities within the Financial Services sector. This position involves significant interaction with senior members of the Finance and Acquisitions teams, and participation in the due diligence process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing completion accounts and determining final payments.
  • Managing the external audit process for acquired entities.
  • Handling financial reporting to regulators for regulated entities.
  • Month-end reconciliations and journal posting.
  • Supporting the consolidation process and statutory accounting.
  • Assisting with company hive ups and group structure simplifications.
  • Leading various ad hoc technical accounting projects.
About the Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with strong technical knowledge of IFRS and FRS 102, experience in consolidations and acquisitions accounting, and proficiency in UK reporting requirements.

They should possess excellent communication, analytical, and report writing skills, with a willingness to collaborate across various business areas and travel when necessary.
