Pre-Sales Technical Consultant

A career-defining opportunity has arisen to join a renowned pure-play Cyber Security software organisation as a Senior Pre-Sales Consultant within their UK Sales Engineering team.
This customer-facing role requires a highly skilled and experienced sales professional to provide expert guidance and support to prospective and current customers, working closely with Account Managers and partner organisations.
Main Objectives- To articulate the benefits of our client's products and services to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- To research the technical requirements of an opportunity and scope a solution that meets the customer's needs.
- To deliver presentations and whiteboard sessions to prospects and customers.
- To conduct Proof of Value / Proof of Concept PoC engagements on Sales opportunities.
- To act as an interface between the Sales organisation and technical staff to resolve outstanding issues.
- To provide reporting and feedback on customer accounts and field activities to Sales, Product Management, and Engineering.
- To work closely with customers to grow and expand the implementation/integration of products and services.
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Proven pre-sales systems engineering experience in the computer networking and security space.
- In-depth understanding of the cyber security threat landscape.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills required for typical pre-sales engagements.
- Experience implementing Proof of Concepts PoCs.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems and file system fundamentals, with expertise in Windows, Linux, or Unix.
- Estimated salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
