Health and Wellbeing Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team in Nuneaton. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring safety is maintained during site closures and implementing the Health & Safety Management System across UK Operations teams.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing emergency response plans, ensuring equipment servicing, and providing first aid and fire marshal cover. You will also advise and support the team, driving H&S improvements and promoting a culture of safety across operations.
The ideal candidate will have up-to-date knowledge of new HSE legislation and industry best practice. They will collaborate with the Head of H&S to implement the Health & Safety Management System across UK Operations teams. Additionally, they will participate in investigations into accidents and incidents, identify corrective actions, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
We require the following skills and qualifications for this role:
- NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent.
- Experience in warehouse/logistics/food manufacturing environments.
- Previous experience in a Health and Safety management role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Compensation: £38,000 - £40,000 per annum based on a 3 day per week, 52 week contract.
