About the Employer
The successful candidate will be joining Shire Healthcare, a leading provider of therapeutic care and education for children and young people presenting with severe emotional and behavioural needs. This includes eating disorders, offending behaviour, substance abuse and sexual exploitation and harmful behaviour.
Job Description
- Work from home, travelling to services across Cambridge as required
- Provide reflective and supportive therapeutic practice within children's homes, including assessment, formulation and intervention work
- Support children and young people in developing coping strategies and techniques to manage their emotions and behaviours
Requirements
- HCPC registration as an Educational, Clinical or Counselling Psychologist
- Experience working with children and young people with complex emotional and behavioural needs
- Post qualifying experience or doctoral training preferred
Salary Information
We offer a competitive FTE salary range of £45,000 - £63,000 DOE, with a part-time contract option (minimum 3 days per week). We believe that this reflects the value we place on our employees' skills and experience.
