About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Researcher to join our Algorithmic Research team at Man Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing algorithms to maximize P&L across various asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement high-quality intraday predictive signals in different asset classes
  • Analyze tick data, microstructure patterns, and order book dynamics to inform trading strategies
  • Develop and maintain market impact models to optimize execution
  • Collaborate with researchers across the firm to identify highest P&L opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments to inform research and strategy

Requirements

  • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to think creatively
  • Deep understanding of statistics and ability to apply it to real-world problems
  • Expertise in high-level programming languages such as Python or R
  • Experience handling large data sets and tick data
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
