Join Our Team of Quantitative Researchers

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team of Quantitative Researchers. As a Quantitative Researcher at Jane Street, you will play a key role in developing and implementing mathematical models to analyze and optimize our trading strategies.

About the Role

As a Quantitative Researcher, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing mathematical models to analyze and optimize our trading strategies
  • Collaborating with our Software Engineers and Quantitative Traders to identify market signals and build and test models
  • Working with large datasets to identify trends and patterns
  • Communicating complex ideas and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, with a focus on probability, statistics, and linear algebra
  • Experience with programming languages such as OCaml, Python, or R
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
