Speech and Language Therapist Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech and Language Therapist to join our Dementia Wellbeing Community Team. The successful candidate will work with people living with dementia, their families, and carers, providing expert support and guidance to improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Keywork a small, complex caseload of people living with dementia, under the supervision of the Lead SLT for dementia.
- Bring SLT expertise to the wider Dementia Wellbeing team's caseload.
- Provide advice and support to the wider SLT team in their management of people living with dementia.
- Work with the Lead SLT for dementia to further develop the service, its resources, and training.
Requirements
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- RCSLT membership.
- Member of relevant CEN.
- Successful completion of specialist short courses relevant to area of clinical expertise to postgraduate diploma level.
