About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our Dementia Wellbeing Community Team. The successful candidate will work with people living with dementia, providing expert support and care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keywork a small, complex caseload of people living with dementia, under the supervision of the Lead SLT for dementia.
  • Bring SLT expertise to the wider Dementia Wellbeing team's caseload.
  • Provide advice and support to the wider SLT team in their management of people living with dementia.
  • Work with the Lead SLT for dementia to further develop the service, its resources and training.

Requirements

  • Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • RCSLT membership.
  • Member of relevant CEN.
  • Successful completion of specialist short courses relevant to area of clinical expertise to postgraduate diploma level.
