Speech and Language Therapist Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist to join our Dementia Wellbeing Community Team. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with people living with dementia, their families, and carers to provide expert support and guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans for people living with dementia.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify communication and eating and drinking needs.
- Provide training and education to staff and carers on communication and eating and drinking strategies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the Dementia Wellbeing Community Team's service strategy.
- HCPC registration as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- RCSLT membership.
- Experience working with people living with dementia.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
