Job Description: Support Assistant - Post-16 Education

We are seeking a highly skilled Support Assistant to join our team at Destination Education, working with students with special educational needs in a specialist post-16 school based in Edgware. As a Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with SEN, promoting their social, emotional, and academic well-being.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have experience working with students/young adults with SEN, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. You will be responsible for maintaining an engaging and stimulating environment for students, providing individualized support and care when needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to students with SEN
- Assist with lesson planning and delivery, adapting materials to meet the needs of students with SEN
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behavior

Requirements:
- Experience working with students/young adults with special educational needs (SEN)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable and professional attitude
