Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to provide personalized support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities in a primary school setting. As a member of our team at Step Teachers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the unique needs of every student are met effectively.

About the Role:

You will work closely with classroom teachers to develop and deliver adapted lessons catering to diverse learning styles and abilities, while maintaining accurate records and contributing to ongoing assessments to track student progress and inform future interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Offer tailored assistance to students, ensuring their unique needs are met effectively.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to develop and deliver adapted lessons catering to diverse learning styles and abilities.
• Cultivate a supportive environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to ongoing assessments to track student progress and inform future interventions.

Requirements:
• Prior experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant in Key Stage 1 is essential.
• A strong understanding of various SEN conditions and effective strategies to support students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children with SEND.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
